PostSubject: The Cemetery   The Cemetery I_icon_minitimeSat Feb 23, 2013 11:25 am

Úrsula, the Banshee found herself again at the cemetery grounds. This time it was the Kingdom of Albion, where she would be staying for a while. She found the cathedral and gracefully levitated to the cemetery, sitting in one of the tombs. She rubbed her arm for it was a bit chilly, but she didnt mind. She just wanted some warmth and she knew she might never get a real one from another person. Sighing, she closed her eyes, allowing herself to rest a bit. She sensed no deaths and had recently fed on the woods on a boar. She wondered if there were many visits to the cemetery. Maybe she'd meet someone.

Kareena wandered into the cemetry listlessly and felt that usual inexplicable calm settle over her as she approached it. Exceptionally unobservant today, Kareena's mind was still on the events of the previous day. Shaking her head absentmindedly, Kareena settled down near the head of one of the gravestones, leaning against the tomb, she swung her bag over shoulder and after rummaging in it for a minute, oulled out what she had been looking for, a book. Kareena crossed her legs ahead of her as she turned to where she had left of, and there at peace among the dead, Kareena comfortably began to read.

Ursula's eyes snapped open. She heard something and it wasn't death, gratefully. She stood up and looked around from her grave and was able to see the girl sitting down to read. Curious for it was the first inhabitant of the town where she was, she walked to behind her grave. At first she went silently, but then at the end, when she ducked behind a tombstone, her chains rattled. She bit her lip. Please don't be scared. She thought, looking at the newcomer with interest.

Kareena's head snapped up as she heard the clinking of chains somewhere behind her. It was then that she realised that she wasnt the only presence there that day, chiding herself internally Kareena managed to remain perfectly still while she automatically began to gauge the emotions that had pervaded the air around her. Hm. whoever it was dint seem to mean her any harm, infact they seem rather..nervous? That couldnt be right, she thought, Kareena was easily one of the least dangerous citizens of of albion, what could someone possibly be nervous around her for? Making up her mind, Kareena slowly relaxed her position and turned in her seat toward the direction of the sound. Her frizzy red curls fell in her eyes as she turned, brushing them away from face impatiently Kareena looked up to see a woman, older than her standing there with a slightly nervous look on her face. The woman had shocking blue waist length hair and skin, pale like a corpse stretched across her protuding bones. None of this bothered Kareena however, more than the nervous energy surrounding the woman. "Hey there", Kareena said, looking politely puzzled "why are you hiding behind the tomb?"

Ursula bit her lower lip as the other looked to her. But she didn't look scared. She tilted her head to the side, and her collarbones could almost pop out from her body at the movement. "...You can see me and are not scared?" She tentatively walked from behind the tombstone, fuchsia eyes scanning the newcomer. Her dress flowed around her, almost as if there was Wind underneath her skirt. She approached slowly.

Kareena shrugged, "No not really", she said nonchalantly. The emotion of anxiety had subsided, replaced by doubt. Kareena supposed this creature, whatever she was must generally have sort of aura of fear around her which is why she expected Kareena to be affected. However Kareena as an empath, found herself more prone to experiencing the emotion of the creature itself, rather what the creature was trying to mame her feel, as that wasnt attached to any real life force. Kareena sighed, even in a kingdom of fantasy creatures, she was a freak. Slightly melancholy, Kareena stood properly and said, "I'm Kareena Eden, nice to meet you", she had learnt it was better not to offer her hand while meeting new people in Albion, it could turn out rather..ah, nasty.

Ursula was taken aback by the News. She wasn't scared. Her lips tried curling up in a smile but, ah, she had forgotten how it felt like sometimes. She walked up to her. "....Úrsula. My name is Ursula." Ursula walked around the girl with interest. Forgetting herself, her chains rattled against the ground and her skin, with her movements. Why wasn't she afraid? Not that she was asking for it but it was certainly uncommon. Perhaps.... "What are you?" Maybe she was another necromancer who wanted to take control of Ursula for herself. She could scare her off if anything happened.

Kareena laughed bitterly, "Im human.", she said. Then feeling she owed Ursula an explanation she added, "Im a seer and an empath." She walked back to the headstone slowly and picked up her book, stuffing it in her bag. Slinging her bag over her shoulder she sat down near the stone and patted the spot next to her, smiling up at Ursula in a friendly manner.

Ursula tilted her head. She was confused, the last time someone have been friendly to her was at least 600 years ago. She swallowed hard and instead of walking, levitated over the grave and sat down by her side. That should show her something. If she didn't know. "..." She said nothing, scanning Kareena's eyes with her own bright pink ones. Unusual color, yes, but the living couldn't have it, only the dead. Or undead.

Kareena looked back into Ursula's eyes slightly unnerved by the leviation, "What are you?", she asked quietly. The woman's pink eyes stared back into her own startlingly green ones. Kareena pulled her legs closer toward her, hugging them. She wasnt really sure if the anxiety in the air was Ursala's or her's anymore..

Ursula sighed. "I am a b---" Her speech was suddenly cut. Somewhere, out there, a Young man died in a storm. Since she couldn't go to where he was for she was engaged in this conversation, she made na effort to stay. But her eyes turned motionless, lifeless, and her face seemed more corpse-like. Her dress flowed around her figure and she stood up. As the man gave his last breath, Ursula let out a piercing scream, her face distorting to a horrid phantom face. Once it was done, she took a deep breath and sat down, biting her lower lip. Fate would never let her have any friends, would he? Just as she was going to tell, a death came in. And she screamed. She looked at Kareena, her eyes blazing towards her in na unsettling calm way.

Kareena shivered and shut her eyes, she was trembling from head to toe as she felt wave after wave of anguish ripple through her? what was going on? Her body trembled violent against the tombstone, her head thudding against it sickeningly. Kareena felt hot tears well up in her eyes as grizly images formed neath the closed lids, she saw great flashes of blue, lightning, a dark shape.. she dint understand it. Her face was screwed up both in concentration and in pain as yet another peircing scream shattered her, Kareena felt her own heartbeat falter for a hundreth of a second as the air caught in her throat. Breathing in great rasps, Kareena's eyes flew oppen but instead of a panic she felt a strange calm. Why was everything moving? Oh right, she was still shuddering violently. As she studied the stranger in front of her, who looked like the angel of death himself, she was forced to wonder what it was that had caused this disturbing stranger such anguish the kond of which Kareena herself had scarcely experienced in all her hundred years. Her head smashed against the tomb again with a sickening thud and hot tears running down her face, Kareena felt her eyes zoom in and out of focus as slowly black patches appeared in her vision and her limbs relaxed, her head leaned against the tomb stone at an angle and she passed out.

Ursula had seen thta reaction. She sighed heavily and gripped Kareena by the shoulders, making her lie down properly on the grave. It was her fault again. She would at least watch over her until she woke up. Maybe...Maybe bring pond water. And mint. Ursula liked those things, maybe it would make her visitor better when she woke up. So she flew out of the cemetery and into the woods, to get water and mint leaves.
About an hour later she was back, but Kareena wasn't awake. She carried a round leaf that had water inside with mint leaves. She sat on the end of the tombstone and analyzed Kareena. She had certainly a beautiful hair color. But would she hate on her after what happened? She just stood there, shrugging at the hours that passed.

Kareena groaned as her eyes fluttered open finally, she attempted to sit up but was instantly hut by a wave of vertigo her hand flying to her head automatically. As her fingers massaged her temple, she steadied herself carefully, leaning lightly against the tomb. "Ugh", she groaned out loud, why did she have to be so weak and stupid? Tilting her head slightly to the side, she caught sight of Ursule and winced as another sharp stab of pain shot through her head. Closing her eyes briefly, she steadied herself and asked, "Are you okay?", to Ursula, concerned.

Ursula sighed in relief as she woke up and quickly took the leaf with the water she collected. She offered it to Kareena. However, her concern was puzzling Ursula. "Why wouldn't I be fine? Are you alright?" She asked, still holding the water. She took a quick look over her head to see if she was hurt but had no success, for her hair was thick and red. Hours had passed quite quickly, and the sunset was happening.

Kareena nodded, "Im fine. It happens quite often to me,though this was a bad one. I havnt been in the company of a banshee before.", she said interestedly. It was obvious now what Ursula was and, as was usually the case, Kareena found herself more intrigued than anything else. Looking around her she realised it was dusk now, "Wow I've been out for a while.", she mumbled accepting the leaf from Ursula and tipping it to drian the water into her mouth. Instantly feeling better, she let the leaf faall from the fingers absentmindedly as she stood gingerly and stretched her limbs, wincing slightly, "Ugh, I'm sore but no lasting damage anyway.", she smiled reassuringly as Ursula. Noticing her bewildered expression, Kareena nearly chuckled, how stupid of her. "You see Ursula", she began to explain gently, "Im an empath. During the er, episode you just had, I felt what You felt rather than what you should've made me feel."

Ursula bit her lower lip. So she knew. Sitting down on the tombstone by her side, she listened carefully and looked astonished, yet guilty. "I apologize. Really. No one should feel what I do." She looked down, toying with a loose strand from her black dress. As the sun was going down, her corpse-white skin seemed to glow in the moonlight, which made her look even more like a ghost. However she was curious, and a lot of questions decided leaving her mouth,"You know what I am, you felt my pain, why aren't you running? Aren't you afraid to be in the company of the undead? Aren't you afraid is some sort of evil behind me? Aren't you afraid your gods are angry with you for this? Aren't you afraid of being in a cemetery?" Ursula couldn't help her stream of questions and she hugged her knees, the ankle chains rattling low against the concrete of the tomb.

Kareena laughed, her eyes kind, hmm often it was hard for others to understand her not that people often tried to. "A hundred years of experiencing almost every type of fear there is, has given me near immunity to my own. The way I see it, life is an adventure and I'd like to take it as it goes. And as far as being in a cemetry goes, the dead scare me much less than the living do. A seer's existence is a lonely one, I take peace when I find it.", she smiled kindly at Ursula willing eher to understand as she crossed and uncrossed her arms absentmindedly.

Ursula heard it all with attention and nodded slowly. Then, a small hopeful smile started to form in her lips. "Will you be my friend?" She knew it was much to ask in their first meeting but she was eager to know more about Kareena, eager for someone.

Kareena looked surprised but then nodded slowly, her eyes wide. Someone wanted to be her friend? But wasnt she afraid of the insistant crying, sensitivity and..her prophecies? Looks like she would find out, Kareena thought carefully, unable to help a small smile from spreading across her face in response.

Ursula smiled happily. "T-thank you!" Her chains clinked as she bounced a bit in happiness. But maybe it was a bad idea...Ursula was lonely because of being undead and a screecher, of announcing death...And after what just happened to Kareena, it could not be safe at all. But she ignored those thoughts.

Úrsula had forgotten she could read her feelings and smiled confusedly. "O-oh...Sure!" She beamed, hugging her skinny knees to her chest. "Hm, I don't remember my name as a human...So my name is Ursula now, becaue of the sound of the Wind. I am from hungary and might be almost a Thousand and a hundred years old." She placed her index finger on her bottom lip, thinking. That should be it.

Ursula listened carefully. "Well, there was nothing left for me where I lived, that was the country of Hungary. My Family ran from me when I appeared to them like this." She sighed, sadness settling in her looks."So I've been traveling, all around the world." She nodded. "What about you?"
